When you join with Direct Debit, you authorise the MCHA to take the membership fee from your bank account each year. Simply click the appropriate link below – if you are selecting joint membership we will contact you once we have processed your application to obtain the name for the secondary member.
Direct Debit are securely processed for the MCHA by GoCardless – one of the premium companies in the UK for charities and businesses.
GiftAid (Optional)
If you would like to join with GiftAid, an HMRC mechanism which allows charities such as ours to reclaim an additional 25% on donations or memberships (at no cost to yourself), please use the “with GiftAid” link below. The only criteria is that you have paid UK tax equal to the 25% of your membership or donation (the amount the MCHA will reclaim from HMRC).
If you would prefer not to, then just use the “without GiftAid” link.
By choosing a membership with GiftAid you will be making the following declaration:
“I would like to join the Montpelier and Clifton Hill Association and for them to reclaim Gift Aid (at no cost to myself) on any membership subscriptions or donations I make from the date of this declaration until I notify them otherwise. I understand that I must have paid an amount of UK income tax or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax the MCHA reclaim on my donation in the relevant year.”
