Kenneth Baker, the former Home Secretary and Education Minister gave a talk to 140 Members and friends at the 2007 Montpelier and Clifton Hill Annual General Meeting. Lord (Kenneth) Baker talked about Brighton and the Prince Regent using slides from his recent book - George IV a life in caricature, which comments on the Regency period using political cartoons of the time. The AGM was held by kind permission of the Brighton & Hove High School for Girls in the school hall at Montpelier Road. Drinks were sponsored by Waitrose Ltd.
